Role
Finatal is partnered with a PE backed wealth management business, seeking an experienced Head of Commercial Finance to lead their commercial finance function and stimulate business growth.
Responsibilities
Budgeting & Forecasting:
* Lead the end-to-end budget and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
* Deliver clear, actionable insights and scenario analyses to support the executive leadership team.
Commercial Finance Leadership:
* Develop and maintain robust financial models to drive profitability and identify growth opportunities.
* Oversee FP&A, identifying trends and performance drivers.
* Lead pricing strategies, margin analysis, and financial evaluations for new business initiatives.
Business Partnering:
* Act as a trusted advisor to the C-suite and department heads, offering expert financial guidance.
* Collaborate with operational teams to enhance decision-making and optimise resource allocation.
* Foster a culture of accountability and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Stakeholder Management:
* Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders, including PE investors.
* Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure financial objectives align with business goals.
Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent, with a strong academic background.
* Proven experience in a commercial finance leadership role, preferably within wealth management or broader financial services.
* PE experience is essential.
* Exceptional financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills.
* Strong business partnering experience with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distil complex financial data into actionable insights.
* Results-driven, adaptable, and highly collaborative.
