You will work across the entire engineering lifecycle following the appropriate defence standards.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Sign off all mechanical designs, ensure the mechanical team are conforming to applicable processes during design, development, and build, and ensure compliance to all applicable requirements.
2. Produce, review and approve technical documentation to support programme delivery.
3. Be a direct point of contact whilst liaising with manufacturers and test houses.
Your Experience:
1. Strong experience in mechanical design including FEA and Thermal Analysis (CFD).
2. Engineering degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
3. Defence experience and working knowledge of the industry standards.
4. Ability to work under pressure in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
About the Role:
Role: Principal Mechanical Engineer
Salary: £46,000-£63,000 Plus Bonus & Benefits
Location: New Malden, Greater London Area
Hybrid working: 2-3 days a week on-site and occasional travel to client site(s)
