Here’s more about the role and what we’re looking for: MECS is a multifuel research project funded by FCDO and is host to the Global Electrical Cooking Coalition (GeCCo) Secretariat. We are looking for an individual with business and/ or research development experience to work specifically on development opportunities relating to electric cooking (eCooking). You’ll support our mission to act as a catalyst for the eCooking revolution by: · Identifying and applying for funding opportunities from UK-based and international donors· Working with GeCCo partner organisations to create opportunities for collaboration and information sharing· Keeping eCooking on the Global agenda by working within the GeCCo Secretariat Key Requirements: · You’ll have a track record of managing grant and funding applications across the funding landscape· You’ll be capable of working across varied organisations and with a diverse range of actors· Work to tight deadlines and on multiple projects· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Have a degree in a related subject or equivalent experience Why should you apply?
