What does this Support Worker job involve?
Hours of Work:16 - 40 Hours Per Week - Shifts: 07:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 / 22:00 - 07:00
This position is for full and part time workers.
Expected duties may include but are not limited to:
• Support to wash, dress, support with medication.
• Meal preparation, cooking, etc.
• Light household tasks, laundry, dusting, vacuuming etc.
• Support with shopping, making and attending appointments.
• Supporting, arranging, accompanying with social activities of choice.
• Driving a mobility vehicle (if required and will be insured by the customer)
• Willing to undertake further training and development to meet the needs of the customer and Empress Social Care Ltd.
Am I the right person for this Support Worker job?
• HSC equivalent NVQ2 (Minimum)
• HSC equivalent NVQ3 or above (Preferred)
• Work on own initiative (Essential)
• Experience (Essential)
• Car Driver (Essential) with a full clean UK drivers license.
• Right to work in the UK
• Unsocial hours will be required as part of our flexible working ethos.
The role of a a Support Worker is varied and will require prospective candidates to be able to problem solve and think on their feet. The support will be provided in blocks and are not short visit based.
We are actively looking for individuals who are experienced and Empress Social Care Ltd will support with provide a full free training programme to support with CPD.
