The Role We are looking for experienced 1-1 Learning Support Assistants to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring they receive the individualized support they need to succeed. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing dedicated 1-1 support to students with SEND. Assisting students in managing and overcoming challenging behaviours. Building trusting relationships to remove barriers to learning. Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff to foster a positive learning environment. What We’re Looking For Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs. Confidence in managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour. Strong empathy, patience, and a nurturing approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for helping children achieve their best. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. They should be able to handle challenges with confidence, provide a calming presence, and create a safe, supportive environment.
