HMP Berwyn is a category C local training prison with a remand function serving courts in North Wales with a capacity of 2000 men. Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) provides a dedicated health and wellbeing service supporting patients with often complex needs including physical, mental health and substance misuse issues.
We offer training and development opportunities in our friendly and supportive teams. Full-time, part-time, flexible working, fixed shift patterns, weekends and nights only contracts are available in addition to a range of other employee benefits. Shifts times can vary but day cover is from 07:00-19:30 and night cover is 19:00-07:30.

Main duties of the job
You will carry out core duties along with your colleagues from Mental Health, Learning Disability and Substance Misuse services, as well as providing a service in your own specialised area. You will be responsible for providing support to your Team Leader in the management and supervision of the work of the Band 5 Nurses and Healthcare Support Workers in your team.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
