An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of Drama to join our Expressive Arts Faculty.
This is a full-time, permanent post.
Our Expressive Arts Faculty comprises 5 teachers across our Music, Art and Drama departments.
The drama department benefits from a large, dedicated drama studio, allowing for delivery of lively and engaging lessons.
The role will be working with Secondary pupils across BGE to Higher.

About the School
The Community School of Auchterarder is an all-through school, comprising Nursery, Primary and Secondary departments serving the community of Auchterarder and surrounding district.
We have a roll of approximately 1, children and young people across all three sectors.
The school is situated in a rural location, approximately 14 miles south of Perth with good road networks to the rest of Perthshire, Glasgow, Edinburgh and the central belt. Our Associated Primary Schools are Aberuthven, Blackford and Dunning.

The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of pedagogies that engage learners.
The successful candidate will take account of the needs of all learners in their classrooms and ensure inclusive practice that leads to positive outcomes for learners. An ability to analyse data to ensure that outcomes for young people are the best they possibly can be, will be required.
High aspirations for learners, good communication skills with parents/carers and respectful relationships and the successful applicant will be skilled in positive behaviour management techniques including restorative approaches.
