Job responsibilities
Working as a Territory Sales Manager, your role will include:
* Establishing and developing relationships with prospects and customers within your designated area, taking responsibility for driving business performance and achievement of area sales targets.
* Maintaining excellent standards of customer service with new and existing customers.
* Developing business through telephone contact, written correspondence, face to face appointments and attendance at exhibitions and shows.
* Identifying customer requirements and maximise selling opportunities to develop the accounts within your area.
* Planning and carrying out customer visits to a regular agreed schedule to ensure full coverage of your area.
* Being aware of competitor activity within your area and report back to your Manager where appropriate.
Location
As our Area Sales Manager you will be servicing our accounts in the North West including Liverpool, Manchester and North Wales, including the following postcodes: LL, CH, CW, SK, WA, M, WN, L, PR, FY.
Essential Skills
Skills required
* Previous sales experience in hand and power tools
* Target driven with a proven track record of overachieving on targets
* Exceptional negotiation skills
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships
* Ability to present and promote the Company’s products and services at all levels
* Good IT skills, proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programmes
* Methodical and highly organised
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
The role will involve daily travel to your customer base so applicants must hold a full, valid Driver’s License
