Following a rewarding career, one GP partner of 20 years is now planning retirement - might you be the right GP to fill this vacancy and complement the team?
Solid team working makes this a safe and welcoming place for those early in their career or more experienced GPs who are new to remote and rural practice.
Key Facts:
1. 3100 patients
2. 3 partner GMS practice
3. 2 band 7 practice nurse prescribers, 1 treatment room practice nurse
4. SCOTGem teaching practice with commendation for excellence in teaching
5. Regular host of elective students
6. On site community nursing team, health visitor, community link worker, physiotherapy, primary care pharmacist, and soon anticipated primary mental health worker
7. Additional contracts for provision of GP care to 2 nearby isles (Flotta and Graemsay) and emergency diving medicine services for Orkney Hyperbaric Trust
8. Close working with consultants from National Hyperbaric Treatment Centre in Aberdeen with full training available
9. Vision and Docman computer systems
10. No out of hours obligation
11. Golden Hello and Relocation Assistance available subject to eligibility
