Quality Assurance Officer
I am recruiting for a graduate/apprentice Quality Assurance (QA) Officer within a specialist healthcare business based in the North West of England. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing organization. The role will support product manufacture, so a degree of flexibility in working is required.
Purpose of the Role of Quality Assurance Officer (QA Officer)
1. Batch documentation review for preparation for product release.
2. Administration of the eQMS, including updating SOPs.
3. Production of works orders and certificates of release documentation.
4. Provide Quality support in manufacturing, packaging operations, and warehouse.
5. Liaise with customers and suppliers for issues, investigations, and projects.
6. Support artwork management pending customer requests.
7. Updating specifications and Bills of Material.
8. Conduct environmental monitoring of the facility in accordance with the schedule and procedure.
9. To ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards where applicable.
Requirements of the Quality Assurance Officer (QA Officer)
1. Experience working in a QA role in Pharmaceutical, Food, FMCG.
2. Knowledge of all relevant practices associated with site GMP.
3. Knowledge of processing, production, and packing methods for products.
4. Good communication skills to ensure information is taken, used, and given at all levels for maximum benefit to the business.
5. Apprenticeship development of Quality skills within the role.
Education
1. Educated to degree/HND/HNC level in a technical discipline.
