POSITION STATUS : Regular Part-Time (up to 24 hours)

DUTIES:
Reporting to the Manager, Sales & Marketing, this position will be responsible for:
1. Selling fare media, including passes, tickets, and gift certificates.
2. Maintaining a float, completing deposits and balances on a daily basis.
3. Providing route, schedule, fare, and charter information via telephone, email, or at the sales counter at Windsor International Transit Terminal.
4. Responding to customer complaints, compliments, and suggestions through the company Customer Service Request (CSR) program or via email.
5. Maintaining an online database for lost and found items and/or passes.
6. Monitoring general delivery voice mail and addressing issues on a priority basis.
7. Reconciling monthly pass sales for accounts receivable.
8. Producing reports and projects as assigned; cash office balancing.
9. Proofreading drafts of schedules and other printed materials.
10. Maintaining knowledge of all fare media prices for Transit Windsor, as well as policies and procedures pertaining to customer service and sales.
11. Performing data input.
12. Responsible to lift items such as a cash tray, change box, and boxes.
13. Performing Corporate Health and Safety duties as outlined in the Canada Labour Code Part II.
14. Performing other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have an Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or Ontario Ministry of Education equivalency.
2. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
3. Must have excellent mathematical skills and be proficient in handling money.
4. Must be bondable.
5. Must be self-motivated and willing to work with a limited amount of supervision within a team environment.
6. Must have proficient computer skills utilizing the Microsoft Suite of products and be able to multitask.
7. Experience in record keeping and office procedures considered an asset.
8. May be required to lift 30 lbs.
