The Role
In this role, you'll be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance of warehouse systems at the site. You will assist the technical department by planning tasks, providing guidance, and supervising mechanics/operators to optimize technical processes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Troubleshooting breakdowns to minimize downtime and enhance plant reliability.
2. Collaborating with the maintenance team and others to solve issues and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
3. Working in cold environments for approximately 20% of your time, at temperatures around -18°C (similar to working in a freezer). Full PPE, including coats, hats, and boots, will be provided.
4. Occasionally performing tasks at heights using safety harnesses.
Who we're looking for:
1. NVQ Level 3 qualification or an apprenticeship equivalent with both electrical and mechanical experience.
2. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in mechanics, electrical engineering, and control systems.
3. Familiarity with PLC and PC-controlled fully automated logistic transport systems.
4. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a collaborative attitude.
5. Eagerness to learn and develop your skills.
6. Ability to drive and travel to the site as needed.
7. Comfortable working at heights and in cold conditions.
8. Relevant work experience in a similar industry.
