We currently have opportunities to join the Nursing Bank within Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT). In particular, we are looking for temporary staff to work as and when required, often at short notice, at Band 5 level within Astley Court, Norfolk. If you are interested in working within our learning disability & forensic services in a temporary capacity, we would like to hear from you.
All roles on the bank are for as and when workers and may suit those already working part-time, with other commitments, or who want to work on a short-term basis. Requirements for various hours can be considered. If you are available in school holidays or term time only, then we would also like to hear from you.
HPFT provides services for service users with mental health, learning disabilities, and children's and adolescent mental health problems. Applicants should have some experience of working in a healthcare setting, particularly within mental health or learning disabilities. The post holder will work in close collaboration with other professionals in assessing service users' needs, devising care plans, and evaluating outcomes that promote service user empowerment through the process.
The post holder, with the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), will participate in the assessment and treatment to provide high-quality, individualised care that addresses the needs of the service users. The post holder will support the Charge Nurse and the Team Leader to ensure that the service is managed effectively and efficiently in all aspects.
As HPFT has a range of healthcare settings across the County, access to a car would be beneficial unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 that prevents you from driving.
Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is one of just five mental health trusts to achieve an overall rating of 'Outstanding' from the Care Quality Commission.
Our family of over 4,000 members of staff provide health and social care for people with mental ill health, physical ill health, and learning disabilities across Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, and Norfolk, delivering these services within the community and several inpatient settings. Everything is underpinned by choice, independence, and equality, with our Trust values embedded throughout.
