Enterprise Risk Senior Manager - Salary circa £110,000
We have a fantastic opportunity for an Enterprise Risk Senior Manager to join our Group Enterprise Risk team. This is a great role for a proactive and curious individual with insurance industry experience who is seeking a high-exposure role and ready to make an impact on Aviva!
A bit about the job:
Our team provides groupwide oversight and challenge of the top risks facing Aviva by setting groupwide policy and frameworks on risk management and producing insightful and thought-provoking risk analysis and opinions for senior management, Boards & Committees. The role holder will lead or support the delivery of thematic risk reviews, business plan reviews, risk opinions on material business decisions, framework and policy development, assessing the effectiveness of risk management across Aviva's business units and working with the other Risk teams to ensure Boards and Committees are kept informed of the material proximate and emerging risk exposures.
Skills and experience we're looking for:
* Experience and knowledge of enterprise risk management within the insurance industry, as well as commercial and regulatory environments in which Aviva operates (e.g. Solvency UK and Canadian regulations) to produce insightful risk opinions on the business plan and other ad-hoc requirements (e.g. M&A).
* Ability to 'join the dots' and think strategically, understands the business, spotting emerging trends and therefore risks to the business.
* Proven ability to operate effectively across functional teams and markets, in particular the ability to build positive yet challenging relationships with senior management in the first line.
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), in particular, the ability to articulate difficult and complex issues briefly and precisely.
* Driven and proactive individual with a strong ability to prioritise activities and workflow to deliver the right outcomes.

* Salary circa £110,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
