Key Responsibilities:
* Solving real-world engineering problems as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Using CAD to design parts and create engineering drawings, as well as reviewing them for production.
* Utilising Product Data Management and Enterprise Resource Planning software to make design changes and request resources.
* Conducting research and documenting it with technical reports.
* Collaborating on interdepartmental projects to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Essential/Desirable Skills:
The successful applicant should have a can-do, open-minded approach to problem solving. In addition, desirable skills are:
* CAD experience (SolidWorks preferable).
* Numerical analysis skills, using hand calculations through to simple FEA/CFD computation.
* Ability to work and learn collaboratively.
Required Qualifications:
Enrolled in a BEng or MEng Mechanical Engineering degree (or equivalent) with an expected 2:1 classification as a minimum.
