Job Description
Supporting the Event Managers, the successful candidates will be responsible for the planning and execution of a range of B2B events. Duties will include client liaison, management of event staff, AV deployment, set design and build, Health & Safety etc. As the placement progresses, undergraduates will take responsibility for running their own events, including management of the Aston Martin events, that take place in a dedicated venue: The Aston Martin Clubhouse.
Role & Responsibilities
* Assisting Event Managers from planning to delivery of all events at UTAC Millbrook
* Taking ownership and responsibility for managing Aston Martin events
* Selecting, briefing and managing external suppliers
* Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth running of events
* Assistance in undergraduate recruitment for the following year
* Completion of all administrative tasks relating to events
* Managing high quality events that exceed customer expectation
Qualifications
* Studying bachelor’s degree in Event Management or similar (projected 2:1 or above)
* GCSE English and Maths at grade 5 or above
Preferred Experience
* Working or volunteering at events
* Working within a hospitality environment

* Flexibility to work occasional long hours and some weekends where necessary
* All applicants will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have own transport as public transport is not available
* Willing to undergo a DBS check
Additional Information
Starting Salary: £21,750 + overtime (potentially up to £25,000)
