Job summary The post holder will support the GP Partners and Managing Partner in managing a busy and varied clinical caseload across The Croft Practice and Meadowcroft. They will ensure the highest standards of patient care, particularly through a structured triage process that facilitates efficient and effective patient management. This role is hybrid, with a minimum of two sessions on-site per week preferred. The working pattern is negotiable; however, the ideal schedule includes: Monday to Thursday: Afternoon session (3.5 hours) dedicated to triage. Friday: Full day (two sessions of 3.5 hours each) dedicated to triage. The post holder will carry out all the duties reasonably expected of an NHS General Practitioner using the standards expected by the GMC and RCGP in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines. Main duties of the job The triaging GP will work closely with the Duty Manager and the Reception Leads to oversee and manage all incoming AccuRx submissions to the Practice. This includes assessing patient needs, handling cases remotely via telephone where appropriate, and allocating face-to-face appointments to themselves or the appropriate clinician.
