Job Summary
Anord Mardix, a Flex company, are a global group that manufactures switchgear and associated products for installation in mission-critical and live commercial buildings ranging from data centres to the international headquarters of some of the world’s largest companies.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Document Controller located in Castle Mills, Kendal. Reporting to the Lead Document Controller, you will assist with the day-to-day online documentation process, taking control of uploading and submitting documentation using various online platforms. What a typical day looks like:
1. To edit documentation in line with LDC requirements
2. To liaise directly with end client Document Controllers
3. The ability to self-manage time critical documentation
4. Generate and update project documentation and collate information for reporting purposes
5. Copy, scan and store documents
6. Review and update technical documents (e.g. manuals and workflows) with direction from the team
7. Distribute project-related copies to internal teams
8. File documents in physical and digital records
9. Create templates for future use
10. Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients
11. Manage the flow of documentation within the organization
12. Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
13. Ability to converse clearly & concisely with LDC & the team
14. Ability to learn & self-mange online document platforms
15. Fantastic PC, written and verbal communication skills.
16. Ability to organise own workload and use initiative.
17. Confident under pressure and able to handle multifaceted objectives.
18. High level of organisation. Efficient with thorough methods of working.
19. Some travel may be required
