Key Responsibilities:
Processing new supplier requests, collaborating with other departments to ensure suppliers have the necessary capabilities, approvals, and certifications. Assisting in the monitoring and maintenance of supplier approvals. Addressing supplier quality issues and working with other departments to ensure timely completion of Failure Reports. Supporting suppliers with quality-related issues, particularly corrective action responses. Providing performance measures and analysis on failure report activities, including trend and root cause analysis. Coordinating the Supplier Review Board (Supplier performance review). Maintaining and improving the Approved Supplier Management procedure and related documents.Experience / Skills / Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015. Formal lead auditor qualification (ISO9001:2015/AS9100D). Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a supplier quality assurance role within the civil and/or military aviation sector or a similar regulated environment. Knowledge of continuing airworthiness regulations (UK Part 145 / Part CAMO) and initial airworthiness regulation (UK Part 21 sub part G) is desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills with a thorough understanding of root cause and corrective action reporting and analysis. Strong communication skills. Motivated, organized, with attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
