This position would suit an individual with extensive experience in commercial roles within the commercial training industry, experienced in managing a portfolio of learning products and solutions. About the role The EMEA Head of Product Strategy and Development will spearhead our Training strategy, successfully enabling our Academy to champion our innovative and evolutionary portfolio of products and services. You will work collaboratively with senior leaders, challenging and influencing our existing ways of working and proactively identifying the need for change. This will be an incredibly challenging but rewarding role as you will be a key member of our EMEA Training Leadership team, playing an integral part in driving the growth of our training business across the region. Additional responsibilities include: Proactively identify the Training needs of our clients and the best learning solutions to meet their demands. Represent the Academy business line in owning and driving the process of learning and development, horizon scanning, new technological solutions, and product and service ideas to position a resilient BSI Academy product portfolio that delivers learner and enterprise client objectives. Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle of the Training portfolio, which ranges from conceptualisation to launch and post-launch analysis. Provide ongoing sales training to internal sales teams regarding the features and benefits of our products and solutions. Lead the implementation and management of client advisory panels and insight surveys to ensure our portfolio grows and maintains market relevance Analyse, share, and apply key learning and development, technological, product, and service trends to the EMEA and Global Academy strategy to support the development and positioning of our portfolio Own the decision-making process, determining which global products we launch in EMEA, identifying the target audience, client needs, and the best strategy to bring the product to market To be successful in this role You will have demonstrable experience in commercial roles, ideally with previous experience in selling products to external parties. In addition to this, you’ll also have: Proven experience in developing and implementing training strategies. Experience in managing the end-to-end product lifecycle. Strong financial and commercial acumen, including leading negotiations, tenders, proposals, solution design, and market positioning. Strong advocacy, communication, formal presentation, and networking skills. Commercial/strategic leadership. Experience working with multi-national/cultural teams. The ability to build solid and credible relationships with key stakeholders. P&L/budget management.
