The Role
Our Support Workers are vital in supporting individuals and their families. You will work within Residential, Supported Living, and Domiciliary Care services, supporting people with Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Autism, and/or challenging behaviors.
* The activities are personalized, centered around the individual’s needs.
* You will be trained to offer person-centered support, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
* Some services are complex; you may work in challenging environments.
* You will promote independence and encourage community engagement, work, and education.
* Assist individuals with daily tasks, personal care, and medication needs.
* Find personalized ways to support each person, respecting their independence, choice, dignity, and privacy.
Training
* No previous care experience needed; training will be provided.
* Develop your skills, knowledge, and career within a supportive team.
* Gain understanding of clinical and social care issues.
* Build confidence in all aspects of the role.
