Full time 08.00-4.30 Monday to Friday, offering a salary of £52,050.60, plus a company car or car allowance and great company benefits.

We are looking to strengthen our workforce by appointing a Senior Contract Manager to oversee the works in the South Lanarkshire area, ensuring that no work is left unturned or delayed.

About the role:
As a Senior Contract Manager, you will be responsible for a team of highly qualified and dedicated staff, including 2 supervisors who will oversee the operatives and an administrator.
The successful Senior Contract Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of contract service delivery at the local branch level, supporting the General Manager in delivering high-quality capital & programmed works.
Ensuring teams operate to Mears defined branch standards and deliver best-in-class customer service, while satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards relating to budget, profitability, and resource deployment.
* Management of all aspects of operational and commercial delivery.
* Managing works to programme time frames, producing project updates relating to budget, cash flow, work programmes, and health & safety.
* Ensure compliance and adherence to health & safety regulations at all times.
* Demonstrate, maintain, and monitor the company’s commitment to best practice.
* Adherence to and completion of company & client reporting protocols within required timescales.
* Cultivate a positive, customer-focused culture that is instilled and promoted across all work.
* Ensure attainment of high levels of customer satisfaction in delivery and achieving contractual KPI targets.
* Manage employees’ performance, coaching and developing individuals in their roles.
* Cultivate a strong working relationship with clients, service users, and local communities.
Role Criteria:
* Trade Background
* Knowledge of Repairs & Maintenance
* Supervisory Experience
* Proven track record of programmed works management & delivery.
* Proven track record of commercial and performance management.
* Ability to manage multiple sites & contracts.
* Proven track record of working in a customer-focused environment.
* Experience of contract/project management including:
* Motivating & inspiring a diverse workforce.
