This is a fantastic opportunity for a determined accounting professional to lead the finance function working closely with the Managing Director and Operations Director.The RoleLead the finance function consisting of Finance Manager and 3 others. Establish and maintain strong financial systems and controls to ensure proper reporting of results on a timely basis.Review existing financial systems and make recommendations on potential streamlining and efficiencies.Report to directors with timely and accurate financial information as required.Liaise with directors, operations managers and site managers to set annual budgets and forecasts for key sites, challenging information given to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the final budgets.Produce monthly management accounts by site with analysis, commentary, variance reporting and comparison to budget.Produce annual forecasts for the Company to assist directors with financial decision making and compliance.Reconcile, approve, submit and pay VAT and MGD returns on a timely basis.Review monthly bank reconciliations.Maintain fixed asset registers.The CandidateACA/ACCA qualification or qualified by experience.All round technical ability, including financial reporting and taxation.Experience with groups or multi profit centre businesses.Experience of preparing and reporting financial results.Excellent communication and leadership skills.The ability to analyse and interpret financial information.The ability to work well under pressure and to work to deadlines.The successful candidate will become part of an established finance function and will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the company over the next 3-5 years.
