Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Administrator to join our Corporate Recovery Team in Manchester. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity for those looking to start a career in business administration, especially within the finance and corporate recovery sector.
You will be working towards a qualification in Business Administration, gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning essential skills from our experienced professionals. You’ll provide administrative support to the team and assist in a wide range of tasks as you learn about corporate recovery and insolvency procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assisting with administrative tasks related to corporate recovery and insolvency cases.
2. Preparing and drafting reports, letters, and other documentation for clients, creditors, and financial institutions.
3. Supporting the team in managing communications with clients, creditors, and stakeholders.
4. Handling data entry and updating case management software with client information.
5. Assisting with the organisation and processing of incoming and outgoing post, telephone inquiries, and email correspondence.
6. Preparing documents for meetings, including photocopying, filing, and other clerical duties.
7. Attending client sites when necessary to assist with the retrieval of business records and materials.
8. Providing support in the production of financial documentation, payment requisitions, and creditor claims.
Key Requirements
1. Experience in an office-based environment.
2. A passion for business administration and a desire to work within a financial or corporate recovery environment.
3. Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
Additional Requirements
1. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
2. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in your work.
3. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
4. Experience in a customer-facing or office-based role would be beneficial but is not essential.
5. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and contribute to the team’s success.
