Advisory Services
Advisory Services helps clients solve business and operational challenges, make informed, commercial decisions and implement better, more sustainable solutions. We work hand in hand with Arup's entire range of technical experts, meaning clients gain access to insights and opportunities that other consultants miss. We are economists, business strategists, environmentalists, change managers, investment specialists and digital experts – all united by the desire to produce a more sustainable future for all.
Cities, Planning and Design
Our Cities, Planning and Design colleagues are active in hundreds of cities across the world supporting city leaders and authorities, investors, developers and community groups to shape a better future for their city. Our strategists, economists, urban planners, designers, and technical specialists are working across cities that vary enormously in terms of their maturity, scale, and infrastructure, applying an integrated approach to solve their issues. Our aim is to shape more sustainable urban places, spaces and buildings, create seamless transport networks and deliver major developments and infrastructure while decarbonising our cities and making them a home for everyone.
The graduate marketing specialists will sit within the global portfolio marketing team, which creates and executes marketing plans and activities to help build Arup's profile, reputation and influence around the world across its range of markets and services.
You will work collaboratively with marketing colleagues and stakeholders in the business to curate and deliver compelling market-leading campaigns and content.
The role is highly varied and will enable you to gain experience and exposure to a wide range of marketing initiatives. Activities include content creation (including but not limited to case studies, thought leadership, social media posts, web copy), coordinating our attendance at events and webinars, identifying, selecting and submitting entries for global industry awards, copywriting, proofreading and the evaluation of activities and campaigns.

Is this role right for you?
For this opportunity, we are seeking the following qualifications, skills and attributes:
* Degree level qualification (a marketing degree is not a pre-requisite for application – we welcome applications from disciplines including humanities, sciences and social sciences)
* Demonstrated interest in marketing
* Proactive and collaborative outlook
* Commitment to developing copywriting skills; creating persuasive and engaging text
* Detail oriented with good proofreading skills (English as a first language is not a requirement)
* Highly organised and able to juggle competing priorities, taking ownership for the planning and delivery of defined activities with limited direct supervision
* Flexible team player, able to work across multiple projects and teams
* Good knowledge of Microsoft packages
