Keen to invest in their innovation platform, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Product Designer to augment their engineering team.
The Role
The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for uncovering customer needs through thorough research and leveraging technical expertise to develop innovative solutions and concepts that address these needs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth and success of the business across the EMEA region, ensuring that technical innovation initiatives and research efforts align with regional market needs while maintaining consistency with global R&D objectives.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a product design or engineering qualification and proven experience in conducting customer discovery and needs analysis within a product development context. A strong technical background in conceptualizing, designing, and prototyping mechanical or electro-mechanical systems is highly advantageous, as is experience in using CAD software to create concept designs. A blend of analytical skills and concept design will be key to success in this role.
