You will be responsible for the operational management of Trent & Doves In-house Repairs Team, with a focus on delivering an efficient, customer centric, and value for money service, whilst also ensuring that performance targets and service standards are met. The successful candidate will manage the In-house repairs trade team as well as a team of property surveyors, you will be responsible for monitoring performance across both teams whilst actively seeking ways to continuously improve the service we offer to our customers. You will ideally: be educated to a minimum of higher national certificate (HNC) in either a building or surveying related qualification have proven ability in a similar role have extensive knowledge of contract management and procurement, ideally within a social housing environment have the ability to build good relations with contractors, colleagues, customers and other stakeholders Have knowledge of preventing and managing disrepair claims be able to demonstrate a strong leadership approach to inspire, lead and motivate a team to achieve performance targets.
