Job summary
Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow (Higher ST3-5 / ST6+) in Vascular Surgery at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH). We have three posts available:
1. Post 1: 03 March 2025 for a period of 12 months
2. Post 2: 05 February 2025 - 30 September 2025
3. Post 3: 01 April 2025 - 30 September 2025
Main duties of the job
These posts offer an opportunity to gain experience in a high-volume tertiary Vascular Unit. There are opportunities to be involved in the diabetic foot service, complex aneurysm programme as well as the delivery of our deep venous stent programme.
Duties of the posts include the management of patients in ward, outpatient and theatre settings. We encourage the Clinical Fellows to initiate and complete a research or audit project, and these posts give an excellent opportunity for aspiring surgeons to improve their CV as well as gain valuable clinical experience. CUH offers comprehensive specialist services in all fields of Vascular Surgery and is also the regional Major Trauma Centre.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at the time of application is required.
About us
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
