Job Description
* Prepare financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
* Manage and maintain the financial ledger.
* Perform budgeting tasks and variance analyses.
* Handle billing activities, including invoicing and account receivables.
* Conduct payroll functions and ensure timely payments.
* Comply with the industry's legal requirements and uphold the company's financial policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting procedures and refine budgeting processes.
* Provide support during internal and external audits.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accountant should have:
* A degree in Accounting or a relevant field.
* ACCA or ACA full certification.
* Proven experience as an Accountant in the professional services industry (must have been within the UK).
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (UK).
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach.
