The Role: As we look to expand our visual asset management platform, we are looking for someone to play key role improving and driving our user research and UX design practices and processes. As a UX Designer you will focus on creating and shaping intuitive digital journeys and experiences for users across our platform. Working closely with the Product Managers you will lead the understanding of our users, challenge the norm, bring in new inspiration from different product areas, investigate ideas outside of your role, and come up with creative solutions that result in positive outcomes for our users, our clients and our company. You will also play a foundation roll in developing our discovery and design, practices and process as we look to scale our team. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Using a user centric approach connect with and gain feedback from internal and external users to deeply understand their needs, desires, and pain points. Conduct user research, such as surveys, interviews and usability test. Analyse and report on insights from both qualitative & quantitative research that will inform product opportunities and solution design. Use your curiosity to understand reality capture, and industrial digital twin markets. Run expert interviews and other design workshops Produce user flows, wireframes, information architecture, design prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to effectively communicate new product experience & functionality. Present your discovery findings and designs for review, feedback, and approval as well as offering review and feedback to others. Write properly crafted user stories and actively help refining those whenever needed. Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create viable, desirable, and feasible products that solves real user problems. Advocate for design excellence across the platform and uphold user-centred design principles and evangelize its methodologies and values to stakeholders, cross-department teams, and subject matter experts. Collaborate with user success, sales and marketing on marketing campaigns, feature releases and demos. Support other Product Team members with their objectives. Who are we looking for? This role is for someone who is enthusiastic and self-driven, who understands the benefits of user research and how to apply it to design. You will need to be eager to work as part of an agile, cross-functional team in the early stages of scaling. You will need good written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills. Must be resourceful, self-motivated with a mindset to take ownership and drive success. Agile, adaptable, and capable of delivering new products and features iteratively. Skills & Experience: A university degree in design, UX design, interaction design or related subject or equivalent demonstrable experience. Experience of UX design with a portfolio highlighting your process from research to design. Proficient in common design tools Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro Experience conducting surveys, user interviews and facilitating workshops. Other experience that would be a distinct advantage: Knowledge of Javascript, HTML and CSS. Have worked in a cross-fictional software product development teams, using Agile methods like SCRUM or similar. Experience collaborating on design guides and building design systems Hands-on experience using reality capture devices and workflows such as 360 imaging and laser scanning.
