ABOUT THE ROLE Are you passionate about supporting the growth of future business leaders? We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Apprenticeship Workplace Coach to join our dynamic team, supporting apprentices across the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA), Senior Leader Higher Apprenticeship (SLHA), and Strategic People Professional (SPP) programmes. In this role, you'll draw on your business, leadership, and management expertise to guide and mentor apprentices on their learning journey. You'll work closely with apprentices, their employers, and university teams to ensure a seamless apprenticeship experience. By conducting regular progress reviews, monitoring performance, and offering tailored support, you'll help each apprentice thrive. You'll also play a key role in ensuring compliance with apprenticeship requirements, providing pastoral care, and facilitating personal and professional development through induction, orientation, and the delivery of apprenticeship standards. ABOUT THE TEAM Join a passionate and collaborative team within the Business School's apprenticeship provision. As a Workplace Coach, you'll support a dedicated caseload of apprentices while also contributing to ongoing improvements in our apprenticeship delivery. You'll work closely with Programme Leaders, academic tutors, and support teams to deliver a high-quality experience for our apprentices, focusing on holistic support that encourages growth at every stage. Our team embraces flexibility, blending remote working with occasional on-campus and workplace engagement to build strong connections with apprentices and employers. This is a part-time role (3 days per week), providing you with the flexibility to work from home with the option to participate in on-campus activities. ABOUT YOU To thrive in this role, you'll need to have: Experience in business and management practices relevant to the CMDA, SLHA, and SPP standards, with solid expertise in these fields. Coaching or mentoring experience, ideally supporting business professionals in their development. A Master's degree in a relevant subject or equivalent professional experience. A strong understanding of work-based and apprenticeship education, especially in leadership, management, and business disciplines. Experience with part-time, distance learning, or work-aligned learners would be beneficial, particularly in an academic or training environment.
