Job Overview:
Parker Stewart is seeking an experienced Chief Commercial Manager to lead the commercial aspects of our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project costs, contractual compliance, and ensuring overall project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage project budgets, conducting thorough cost estimations and financial forecasting.
* Provide expert advice on contractual matters, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
* Negotiate and finalise contracts with designers, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
* Maintain commercial alignment with project goals, monitoring progress and providing regular financial reports.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* In excess of 5 years' proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a focus on commercial management.
* Strong proficiency in quantity surveying software, financial modelling, and contract administration.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyse complex data, make informed decisions, and manage competing priorities.
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
