Role Overview
As a Purchasing and Supply Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring seamless supply chain operations, working closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver quality, on-time results. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with experience in manufacturing or supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities
* Procurement Excellence:Source and order essential components, meeting First Time In Full KPIs for both pumps and systems to maintain customer satisfaction and financial goals.
* Supplier Relations:Cultivate strong supplier relationships, provide forecasts, and ensure clear communication to meet demand efficiently.
* Cost Efficiency:Contribute to cost-saving initiatives aligned with business objectives and raw material targets.
* Quality Assurance:Track and log supplier quality performance, following internal processes to address any discrepancies.
* Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to anticipate demand and resolve supply limitations.
* Logistics Management:Oversee import arrangements and ensure adherence to UK/EU regulations for smooth delivery of critical components.
* Continuous Improvement:Support the Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager in quarterly supplier reviews, and assist with sourcing new suppliers in line with sustainability goals.
RequirementsYour Skills and Experience
* Background in manufacturing or supply chain, with ERP experience preferred.
* Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a methodical approach to tasks.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
* Positive, flexible attitude, with a commitment to continual development.
* Basic statistical analysis skills and previous purchasing experience beneficial.
