Full-time Description We are seeking an experienced CDL-A driver to join our sitework team for equipment mobilization and hauling materials and aggregates to/from job sites. Sitework crews must contribute, both individually and collectively, to the production goals set forth by the Foreman, PM and/or Superintendent. To be successful in this role candidates must be safety-minded, reliable and a team player with quality communication skills. Requirements Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience as a CDL-A driver. Drivers must be able to operate both manual and automatic transmissions with ease. Must have the ability to move, haul and deliver products such as stone, sand and gravel. Must have the ability to load/unload equipment for mobilization needs of job sites. Must have the ability to inspect and safely use all equipment pertaining to the job. Ability to work/drive, year-round, in varying weather conditions for extended periods of time. Knowledge and respect of all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to safe CMV operation. Basic knowledge of the equipment and tools used on job sites and at our pits and quarries. Ability to communicate with and assist operators when necessary. Responsibilities Sitework drivers are required to mobilize various heavy equipment to/from job sites. Drivers are required to pick up, haul and dump aggregates to various job sites. Drivers must complete all daily paperwork and logs as necessary and required. Must complete all training, testing and/or certifications provided and/or required by employer. Must assist Foreman, Operators and/or other skilled labors as necessary and needed. Be willing and able to perform minor maintenance and general cleaning of equipment. Communicate with equipment operators, and others, via proper hand signals and/or CB radio. Communicate with the office, as needed, for daily paperwork and/or regulatory logs. Maintain a willingness to learn, follow instructions and grow with the organization. Complete all tasks assigned by Foreman or Supervisor in a safe and timely manner. Have reliable transportation to and from the yard, shop and/or the office.
