An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join Cobden Primary School as a Year 5 Class Teacher for the remainder of this academic year for 2-3 days each week. This is the perfect opportunity for someone to gain valuable experience in a friendly, busy, and caring school. You will receive fantastic support through year group team planning and phase leadership.
The Classroom Teacher is responsible for creating a learning experience that enables and challenges our pupils to be ambitious and proud of themselves and our school. We seek to ensure that children have the best possible experiences during their time with us, and therefore aspirational and exciting teaching is encouraged.
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual who is keen to make a difference in our school. We are a multicultural, inclusive school situated in Loughborough with many good transport links to the school, including by bus and train.
We are looking for a creative and bubbly person who can bring innovative ideas and be confident in sharing them with the team. Teaching experience will not be a determining factor; we welcome applications from newly qualified teachers (ECTs) as well as more experienced candidates.

The ideal candidate will:
1. Possess the ability to teach high-quality lessons and consistently provide learning opportunities that progress pupils’ learning and achievements.
2. Be an excellent communicator and able to build positive working relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and stakeholders.
3. Ideally have experience in Upper Key Stage 2, along with an interest in developing or supporting our approach to English teaching.
