Global Citizenship Coordinator

This role will report to the Associate Director of Global Citizenship, who is based in London, providing organizational and programmatic support globally for our Global Citizenship Committee, in particular our Volunteering and Charitable Giving Subcommittee, and delivering volunteering and charitable giving events in London.
The person will work with and support the wider Global Citizenship team, to include the Global Citizenship Chair, Director of Global Citizenship, as well as other relevant partners, lawyers and business services professionals to develop, manage and communicate our Global Citizenship initiative.
Key Responsibilities
Volunteering and charitable giving:
Global and Regional
1. Work with the Director of Global Citizenship and wider team to support our Volunteering and Charitable Giving Subcommittee and promote the delivery of its annual objectives.
2. Provide guidance and support for our EMEA Global Citizenship Office Champions, which include partners, lawyers and business services professionals, on local volunteering and charitable fundraising office initiatives.
3. Support global internal communications campaigns, such as Global Green Week and Global Volunteering Week.
4. Support global fundraising efforts, such as the White & Case World Cup, to include pre-event fundraising and onsite activities, when necessary.
London
5. Coordinate the London office volunteering program, for example, our social mobility focused work experience programs with PRIME and the Social Mobility Foundation, plus Chapter One reading scheme and ZSL London Zoo volunteering, in which commercial clients participate. To include volunteer recruitment, event set up and delivery plus communications with our charity partners and wider office.
6. Support the office’s Chosen Charity initiative and deliver an annual timetable of fundraising, volunteering, and profile-raising events in collaboration with the London Chosen Charity Committee, to include internal events such as our annual charity quiz and participation in fundraising challenge events.
Legal Education
7. Support Firm sponsorship of the UK national finals of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.
Miscellaneous
8. Internal and external communications,, prepare contents for London’s weekly internal newsletter.
9. Produce agendas and meeting minutes for our Volunteering and Charitable Giving Subcommittee and London Chosen Charity Committee meetings.
10. Assist with delivering Global Citizenship presentations,, to new joiners.
11. Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
12. Manage room bookings for Global Citizenship events and for use by our charity clients, to include preparing guest lists, room set-up and catering.
13. Support other projects as required.
Qualifications and skills
14. Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Corporate Social Responsibility or Responsible Business role, for example at another law firm or corporate/bank, or a related business services role.
Educated to Bachelor’s degree level.
15. Demonstrated experience in coordinating corporate, fundraising or volunteering events and supporting committees.
16. Excellent project management, time management and organizational skills.
17. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Ability to draft recruitment communications, such as emails and intranet articles, for internal volunteering and fundraising events.
18. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
19. Team player who can work under their own initiative.
20. Strong interpersonal skills.
21. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Location and Reporting
This role is a permanent, full-time position based in our London office, and reports into the Associate Director of Global Citizenship.
Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:00, with a current requirement for 3 days in the office per week.
