The Global People team anticipates, shapes and drives KPMG's People priorities in support of our Trust and Growth ambition. Global People designs and delivers innovative solutions that support execution of our Collective Strategy under our agreed priority areas: Ethical & Collaborative Culture, Global Mobility, Inclusion, Diversity & Equity, Learning & Development and Talent, underpinned by technology solutions from our Digital HR team.
The mandate of the Global People team is to drive execution on the global business strategy through our collective People Strategy working together, and with our colleagues around the world, to deliver leading HR service and support to our global functions, regions, member firms and staff. Global People is responsible for designing and delivering solutions focusing on our globally agreed strategic imperatives of Mobility, Diversity & Inclusion, Culture, Digital HR, Talent and L&D.
About this Team
Global Digital HR
The Global Digital HR team develops and maintains the global HR system landscape to support our global People priorities. The majority of systems we support are offered to KPMG member firms on an opt-in basis with many of them adopted by up to 135 member firms. We are a geographically dispersed team with team members in Canada, US, UK, Germany and Poland and our support team is based out of India.
Role summary
This is a process Subject Matter Expert (SME) role to lead the BAU support and design of enhancements for the global Performance & Talent system based on the SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals module, translating performance & talent requirements into system solutions.
Key Accountabilities
Performance Process & System Subject Matter Expert (SME):
* Lead the day-to-day support of the SuccessFactors Performance Management and Goal Management (PMGM) application.
* Identify and implement process and system improvements to align with best practices.
* Provide process context and rationale, act as a point of escalation, and approve change requests.
* Collaborate closely with SAP to stay updated on the latest developments and roadmap items, assessing their relevance for KPMG.
* Translate business process requirements into effective technology solutions.
* Collaborate with our third party implementation partner to implement system enhancements.
* Manage system adoption across the network by guiding member firms through our adoption process, ensuring a smooth go-live and transition to Business As Usual (BAU).
Driving System Enhancements in the SF Talent Suite:
* Embed our global Career Architecture and skill taxonomy in SAP SuccessFactors (SF) using the Talent Intelligence Hub.
* Leverage AI features and integrate with MS Teams for enhanced functionality.
* Review and enhance dashboard reporting and our roles structure.
* Embed a skills-based approach in the performance development process.
* Build a business case for the Career Development & Succession module.
Stakeholder Management:
* Engage with member firm Performance Development (PD) leads and global the global Talent team to understand their requirements and provide system and process advice.
* Participate in the Global Performance Working Group to understand strategic direction and present system enhancements for guidance and sign-off.
* Effectively communicate system enhancements to the Performance Development (PD) network.
* Establish and lead a community of practice group, conducting regular connection calls.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with our off-shore support team in Bangalore, providing guidance to address member firm queries and oversee system configuration changes.
Experience / Qualifications
* Proven track record in HR technology or a similar role, with a focus on system management and process improvement, ideally in a large multi-national and/or federated organization
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
* Proven experience (ideally certified) with SAP SuccessFactors, particularly in Performance Management and Goal Management (PMGM)
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
* Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Ability to build strong relationships in a global environment working with diverse, cross-functional teams
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail; ability to drive through to solution in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity
* Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technology solutions
* Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
* Trustworthy with strong business integrity and ability to hold sensitive information in confidence
* Knowledge of global HR practices and trends, particularly in performance management, career development and skills-based organization
