You'll be responsible for providing complete HR generalist service to our Debden manufacturing site, taking responsibility for day to day issues and supporting annual HR strategic objectives and processes.
Providing hands on, proactive support to the Lead HR Business Partner and working with wider HR teams to ensure consistent application of HR generalist services.
You'll be expected to communicate and build relationships across teams and with key stakeholders to understand their needs, support them with HR queries and provide guidance on best practice, and policy.
* Support management teams within the area in the implementation and application of HR procedures such as disciplinary and grievance, performance management, absence management, redundancy process etc.
* Manage the recruitment activity for the relevant teams working closely with management teams and third parties
* Provide support on employee relations issues, escalating as appropriate
* Own and lead on specific employee relations issues as directed by Lead HR Business Partner.
* Manage all maternity, paternity and other family related absences
* Management of persistent short-term absence and long-term absence, including communication with Occupational Health and supporting line managers to provide appropriate solutions.
* Create, review and update HR policies and procedures in line with UK legislation.
* Support and champion the HR Cyclical process e.g. PDP completion and tracking and contribute to continual improvement of all HR processes working closely with the HR Specialist Services team and wider HR community
* Management of payroll processing for the site, ensuring all monthly payroll changes are input with a high degree of accuracy and records are maintained on our internal HR system (Cascade).
* Ensure adherence to visa status requirements, where applicable
