PA Nanny / Housekeeper Required – Corsham, Wiltshire
Corsham, Wiltshire
£15 to £20 per hour, preferably self-employed; however, directly employed also considered.
Start Date: January 2025
Temporary Part-time Daily Nanny PA / Housekeeper – mixture of sole charge and shared care.
Hours: 2pm to 7:30pm, Monday to Thursday (possibly Friday).
On behalf of our client, Head First is recruiting a support worker/nanny to work with a client’s family living in the community.
Do you want to make a positive difference to someone’s life? Are you able to provide compassionate support and learn about brain injury? Can you encourage children’s development through fun activities? Can you build meaningful relationships and celebrate every success, big or small?
The successful applicant will be responsible for the care of a boy (9) and girl (8), often in sole charge, while also being aware of their father’s wellbeing, who has suffered a brain injury resulting in high fatigue levels. Both children are intelligent, active, and imaginative, attending KungFu and Swimming clubs, and enjoy construction toys, Lego, cuddles, and reading stories.
Our client seeks someone who is resourceful, confident, highly motivated, and organized, with a commitment to providing high-quality service. A knowledge and understanding of child development and how children interact would be desirable.
The successful applicant will need to be proactive and able to prioritize independently with limited day-to-day guidance. The family enjoys a high-powered approach to daily life, including leisure and professional work; the client is involved in domestic life, but his high fatigue levels limit his involvement. The household may become messy at times, so an ability to work within a fast-moving domestic environment while creating structure for the children is essential.
