Job Title: Associate Portfolio Manager Location: Central Bristol (Hybrid working - 3 days in the office) Contract: Permanent, Full-time An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Portfolio Manager to join a dynamic team in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will support the smooth delivery of operations and maintenance services across a portfolio of solar sites, helping ensure compliance with O&M contracts and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and support the management of a portfolio of solar sites, ensuring corrective maintenance, testing, and remedial work on solar PV systems are scheduled and reported to clients in a timely manner. Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Senior Portfolio Managers to ensure all scheduled work is completed. Assist regional teams in delivering operations and maintenance (O&M) services across solar portfolios. Manage work orders and digital platforms, ensuring efficient planning and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance (PPMs and CMs). Minimize the use of third-party contractors by maximizing internal resources. Support the production of monthly client reports and assist in overall performance analysis of solar sites. Help identify and implement value-add projects that enhance site performance, safety, and compliance. Assist with managing CCTV, security contractors, clients, and contracts to ensure O&M obligations are met. Support the Operations Manager in maintaining strong client relationships, identifying additional services, and delivering a high standard of service. Monitor maintenance KPIs, highlight trends, and assist senior management in strategic decision-making for site-specific O&M plans. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations such as corrective hours and liquidated damages (LDs). Provide guidance and mentorship to Portfolio Managers and other Associate Portfolio Managers within the team. Ensure data security and confidentiality, adhering to GDPR and all applicable UK legislation. Required Qualifications and Skills: Experience in the solar industry or a related field such as maintenance or facilities management is highly desirable. Strong technical and analytical skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, sub-contractors, and colleagues. Interest in power electronics, circuitry, and power generation technologies is beneficial.
