Finance Administrator – Canterbury

Our growing client is looking for a Finance Administrator to join their existing finance team. This role is working within the Finance Team will support the Finance department by managing daily financial tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support. The role requires strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
4. Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments
5. Ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date
6. Process invoices, credit notes, and payments.
7. Reconcile accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
8. Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash flow records.
9. Assist in monitoring budgets and financial reports.
10. Support in the preparation of budget forecasts and financial planning.
11. Manage finance-related correspondence and inquiries.
12. Maintain filing systems for financial documents.
13. Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
14. Ideally someone who has experience within Accounts.
15. AAT Studier or wants to study.
16. A passion to learn and progress.
17. Needs to drive.
18. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
