Madisons Recruitment are currently working with a highly reputable commercial contractor in their search for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client are a leading design and build contractor in their specialist field with a variety of projects across the UK.\n\nCandidates looking for a long engagement should be willing to travel to projects across the UK - our clients head office is located in Slough, and projects are nationwide. The first project location is a new build project in Horley, Surrey.\n\nThis will be an office based/hybrid/site based role. \n\nYour responsibilities:\n\nBuilding and maintaining upon client relationships.\nCommercially management of contracts: application preparation, Identify and value client change requests, managing client valuations.\nServe contract notices in accordance with the contract, and customer / company policy.\nSub-Contractor commercial management: Tendering process and negotiations, Placing orders, and contracts.
Managing subcontractors’ applications, variations, payments, and final accounts.\nOngoing liaison with site team, subcontractors, and Customers’ representatives.\nProject Reporting.
