About the role: As a Banking Senior Associate, you will play a crucial role in the corporate and leveraged finance team. You will have the opportunity to work on lending transactions across various sectors and product areas, ranging from established UK and international banks to private equity sponsors and technology start-ups. Furthermore, you will be involved in the venture debt practice, representing both venture debt providers and early-stage companies. Key responsibilities: Bring your expertise in corporate lending and/or venture debt and growth finance to effectively handle transactions and manage junior members of the team. Utilise your strong working knowledge of LMA documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy. Collaborate with the team across Manchester and London to provide high-quality legal support and advice. Who we are looking for: To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria: At least 6 years PQE in corporate lending and/or venture debt and growth finance. Good working knowledge of LMA documentation. Strong transactional experience, including the ability to run transactions and manage junior associates/trainees. A proactive and client-focused approach, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
