We are looking for a committed and experienced Secondary SEN Tutor to support students across Hillingdon and Slough. If you have experience working with young people with Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and other additional needs-and can create tailored learning plans-this role offers the chance to make a real difference.
This flexible position is ideal for someone who can travel across Hillingdon and Slough to deliver personalised sessions in students' homes or agreed learning environments.
- Assess the individual needs of secondary-aged students and design personalized schemes of work.
- Plan and deliver engaging, structured sessions that meet the needs of learners with Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and other SEN.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the specific learning styles and requirements of each student.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents, carers, and other stakeholders.
- Build positive relationships with students to help boost their confidence and engagement in learning.
- Experienced in working with secondary-aged students with SEN.
- Confident in assessing, planning, and delivering bespoke learning interventions.
- Knowledgeable about SEN strategies, particularly for Autism, ADHD, and Global Developmental Delay.
- Patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting young learners.
- Flexible and willing to travel to students in the Hillingdon and Slough areas.
- Relevant teaching or tutoring experience (QTS or SEN-specific qualifications are desirable but not essential).
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours tailored to the needs of students.
- Access to reliable transport to travel between locations in Hillingdon and Slough.
- Competitive hourly rate of £20-£25, based on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
