Senior Residential Support Worker
Location: Wheaton Aston, West Midlands
Salary: Circa Up to £48K (includes sleep-in allowance of £70.47 per sleep-in with an average of 11 per month) plus time and a third for overtime
Working Hours: Full-time
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: Young People who have suffered early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may display challenging behaviours
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent
Experience in Years Required: Minimum 2 years

Who we are looking for…
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Residential Support Worker who is passionate about supporting children and young people. The ideal candidate will:
* Plan and manage shifts with Residential Support Workers
* Safely manage risks in line with company policies and procedures
* Communicate effectively with the team regarding daily plans
* Provide detailed reports reflecting the progress of young people using our paperless systems
* Review care plans and associated documentation
* Undertake quality and bespoke training
* Attend staff meetings and contribute to improving the service
* Advocate for young people using a positive parenting model
* Utilise positive support strategies, including de-escalation techniques using in-house training (PRICE)
