Job Overview
At Daw Signs and Fit-Outs we are going through a rapid period of growth due to the acquisition of long-term, high-volume contracts. We are currently seeking an experienced, driven Finance Manager to join our team in Glasgow. The business manufactures and installs signage and fit-outs UK wide working within public sector, construction and private/retail divisions.
Responsibilities
1. Managing cashflow
2. Bank, balance sheet and payroll reconciliation
3. Preparing management accounts
4. Accruals and pre-payments
5. Posting journals
6. Credit Control supervision
7. Accounts payable / receivables supervision
8. Supervision of the Finance Officer and Assistant
9. Report to Finance/Commercial Director, addressing any concerns and providing insight for business planning
10. Managing the wide variety of financial matters arising for the business
11. Quarterly VAT returns
12. Client retention claims for Construction contracts
13. Producing applications for payment
Candidate Requirements:
1. Recognised Accounting qualification or ability to prove you are QBE
2. Business Accounts / Finance management experience
3. Xero, Sage, Payroll experience
4. Experience with CIS (construction industry scheme)
5. Excellent Excel and reporting skills
6. You must be enthusiastic, driven and want to grow with the company
Salary negotiable depending on experience and skill. References will be required for this role.

Pay: £32,993.94-£40,000.00 per year
