We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Assembly Operative within our growing Assembly Team.
In a nutshell you will be responsible for:
You will join our team in producing high-quality brass wear products. You will contribute to the production of our brass wear products by assembling components with accuracy and speed, while maintaining a high level of quality.
What you are already great at:
* Assembling brass wear components according to detailed work instructions and quality standards.
* Building, testing and packing products to the required quality standards and output targets.
* Utilising hand tools and power tools as required for assembly tasks.
* Undertaking all work in accordance with standard procedures and work instructions.
* Inspecting assembled components for defects and ensuring they meet quality specifications.
* Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
* Adhering to all safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.
* Recognising and reporting failures or problems with standard procedures and work instructions and making suggestions for improvement.
* May be required to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods standing up.
* Ability to be flexible in your working approach, as the business requires.
For this role we would need you to demonstrate:
* Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing (preferred, but not essential).
* Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
* Ability to follow instructions and work accurately.
* Sufficient computer skills required.
* Attention to detail and quality focus.
* Ability to work as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
* Good time management and organisational skills.
