I am working with a practice based in Norfolk who operate two surgeries in the area, and they are now recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their experienced team. Situated in the delightful Norfolk countryside close to the Norfolk Broads and a short drive to the coast, providing a great work/life balance. Diss Railway Station gets you to London in under 2 hours. It is also well connected with several airports around.
This friendly independent group provide first opinion care, routine surgery and emergency and critical care from their two branches providing an exciting case load in medicine and surgery.
They are proud supporters of their local cat shelter and feline care. They prioritise their team's wellbeing and believe a good work life balance is vital for a happy team environment. With this in mind, all their appointments start from 10am so all the Vets can pursue morning activities or take their children to school etc.
The practice aims to provide the highest standards of medical and surgical care in a pleasant and friendly environment offering a modern and comfortable practice designed with the needs of caring clients, their families and staff alike. They have all the usual kit including digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental suite with dental x-ray and in-house lab. If you have a particular passion, then they are happy to invest in the necessary equipment so you can follow your interests.
The position would suit someone who is eager to learn and develop their skills. You will need a strong work ethic, plus a caring attitude with clients and their owners. They are looking for a team player with the talent and ambition to grow into a great vet. New grads welcome to apply.
The Rota:
• Full time, part time or individual rota available
• Practice opening hours 8am - 6.30pm Monday - Friday and 10am - 6pm on Saturdays
• Optional OOH
The Benefits:
• Salary: £35,000 - £70,000 DOE
