About the opportunity
My client is looking for a Site Agent to work on highway projects in Dover. The successful candidate will be expected to operate and promote a high standard of health and safety by ensuring Method Statements and Risk Assessments are in place for all aspects of the works. You will have to work closely with the Quantity Surveyor throughout to make sure the project is within budget as well as liaising closely with the procurement team. You will be in charge of undertaking the management of Sub Agents, Section Engineers, and Site Engineers whilst you work closely and report directly to the Contracts Manager. The projects that you’ll be involved in will range from pavements, kerbing, structural concrete, piling, and bridge bearings.
This opportunity is PAYE and freelance will not be considered.

About the requirements
You are required to have a good standard of education preferably to Foundation Degree level (HND, HNC, or equivalent qualification) in either Construction management or civil engineering.
To be considered for this position, you should have experience working as a Site Agent within Civil Engineering & Highways for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 company. Your work history should be stable; ideally, you should have worked at your previous companies for several years.
A UK driving license is mandatory for this role
