At The Prince of Wales Hospice we are passionate about providing specialist care for people who have an incurable, life-limiting illness. We help hundreds of patients each year and our charity shops play a key role in helping us raise much needed income to provide our services to people across many different areas. About the role The successful applicant will have overall responsibility for running the shop, including optimising income from sales, controlling direct shop expenses, motivating the shop team, recruiting and training volunteers, and ensuring overall compliance. You will ensure all members of the public receive excellent customer service in a clean, tidy and well stocked shop. You will work with your shop team to ensure a high quality service. Previous experience of cash handling, working in the retail charity sector and working with volunteers would be desirable but are not essential.
